This is the last post from our trip to Italy, our last stop was Rome. It was such an awesome city. We stayed in the Campo dei Fiori neighborhood in an Air B&B. Our room was small but clean and had everything we needed, despite the four floors worth of skinny stairs up to the room. The neighborhood was awesome with lots of restaurants nearby and an open air market everyday we were there!
The first full day we were there we did a lot of site seeing, the Colosseum, Palentine Hill, the Roman Forum and the Trevi fountain at night. It was awesome to see all of the history in Rome. We ate at Spaghetteria L’Archetto that night which was recommended by a friend and it was delicious. They had like 200 different spaghetti combos to chose from!
The next day and our very last day in Italy we took off on a run with no camera and did some site seeing that way which was actually really fun! We went up along the river to Borghese gardens then we stumbled up on the Spanish steps and later went to the Pantheon. Our trip to Italy was just amazing and I wouldn’t change one thing about it!
For our first day of site seeing I wore this floral dress with my trusty chambray over it. I was also very excited to be using my brand new purse and these sandals never let me down during the trip!
Anthropologie dress (last seen here)~~Cloth and Stone chambray (love the popover version here)~~Sam Edelman sandals~~Parris handbag~~Bracelets: J.Crew, Hermes~~Gorjana and Griffin necklace~~Burberry watch

Positano was so beautiful once we finally arrived! Coming from the Cinque Terra it took us almost a full day of trains (big and small) to reach the Almalfi Coast. But boy was it worth it! We arrived at night so waking up the next day to this beautiful place was such a treat. This town is small and primarily on a hill, so if you don’t like stairs I would not visit here. After many days of site seeing and bouncing around towns we just hung out on the beach for the day, which was nice and relaxing! The other full day we took a boat ride to Capri which was also beautiful. We made some friends on the boat ride and actually just spent most of our day over indulging in Aperol spritzers and wine! If you are looking for a mini-vacation within your sight seeing European vacation.. Positano is the perfect destination! While cruising around town I wore this light weight dress from J.Crew Factory (everything 30% off right now with the code SALE30) with my Sam Edelman sandals so I could make sure to be comfortable while hiking up all those stairs! As you can see my Banana Republic cross body (on sale now!) and J.Crew necklace got a lot of use on my Italian trip!
When buying dresses at the end of the summer for vacation, I always think of how I could use them in fall. I plan on throwing a sweater over this one and adding brown booties like these ones.
