Tis the Season for Coats

Tis the Season for CoatsTis the season for a new coat!  I have put together a few of my favorite styles for you.

The Peacoat: It truly is a classic.  You could get this coat in every color and it would never go out of style.  Also like the J.Crew version in red.

The Neutral Pattern Coat: We all know how much I like pattern mixing (last seen here), and you can do it with your winter coat too.  If you pick a neutral colored pattern like the above example, you can pretty much wear it whenever you would wear a black coat.  Also, loving this one and this one.

The Parka Coat: Perfect coat for staying warm and looking stylish!  All the coats from Madewell are really cute this season and I also have my eye on this less expensive version of the parka (since it doesn’t get that cold in SF).

The Pop of Leather: Pops of leather are everywhere, why not have it in your favorite winter coat too!  I especially love this coat with the subtle plaid pattern.

The Winter Coat: This is my go-to style.  If I were to buy one coat for the season I would buy this one… good thing CUSP is having 30% off right now through Nov. 8th!

Skulls…Not Just for Halloween

Ok, so I confess Halloween isn’t my favorite holiday. I feel like it always sneaks up on me and I am a not prepared with a costume. Then I rush to buy whichever slutty costume is left in the bag at the costume store and hate every uncomfortable minute that I am wearing it. So I typically try to avoid having to go to any costume parties. That has been made a little easier with the “I have a job” excuse since Halloween has fallen on the weekdays for the past few years. Do you like dressing up for Halloween?pretty skull artEven though I don’t like dressing up for Halloween that doesn’t mean I can’t add a little skull edge to my outfits. Check out these items I found with skulls, now they aren’t just for Halloween!

Longing For

longing forMadewell is just hitting it out of the park for me this season.  Their vibe just screams fall in San Francisco! This tote and clutch are essentials!  Leopard goes with everything and there is nothing better than a tan tote carryall.. especially one you can get monogrammed!  I also love this lace shirt, it would pair perfectly with this Amanda Uprichard skirt from CUSP!

Aren’t these elephant earrings just darling and at just $55 this necklace sure does make a statement!  Anthropologie is always a go to place for dresses, this red one is going to be great for the holiday season but could be worn year around too.  I also have my eye on this one and this one!

WIth a new season comes a need for a make-up revamp.  I love all of Bobbie Brown’s pallets, this smoky eye one is perfection!  Also with a new iPhone out, you must be in need of a new case.  If you weren’t one of the lucky ones to get the newest upgrade (don’t worry neither was I), it doesn’t mean your phone doesn’t need a new outfit for fall too!!  I am currently obsessing over this Ted Baker floral phone case.

Have you bought any new things for fall yet?? What is on your wish list?
