Since La Loves turned 1, I decided it was time for a new look! So here it is!! They layout is pretty much the same so no new surprise there. I feel like this look is cleaner and just more me. In the top right I do have links to other social applications and would love if we could be friends there too! Thank you again for all of your support along the way!
Here is a classic Working Girl Wednesday outfit for me. I have raved about J.Crew Minnie’s so many time and here is the newest pair to my collection. This is the wool version and this year they are making them a tad bit longer which is perfect for the bootie trend. I paired my new burgundy slacks with classic button down and cardigan for a preppy work look. Do you have a go to item for work?
J.Crew pants and cardigan~~Banana Republic shirt and necklace~~Anthropologie belt (similar)~~Parris handbag~~Born & Crown shoes (similar)~~Burberry watch~~Rings: Madewell and Gorjana and Griffin
Tis the season for a new coat! I have put together a few of my favorite styles for you.
The Peacoat: It truly is a classic. You could get this coat in every color and it would never go out of style. Also like the J.Crew version in red.
The Neutral Pattern Coat: We all know how much I like pattern mixing (last seen here), and you can do it with your winter coat too. If you pick a neutral colored pattern like the above example, you can pretty much wear it whenever you would wear a black coat. Also, loving this one and this one.
The Parka Coat: Perfect coat for staying warm and looking stylish! All the coats from Madewell are really cute this season and I also have my eye on this less expensive version of the parka (since it doesn’t get that cold in SF).
The Pop of Leather: Pops of leather are everywhere, why not have it in your favorite winter coat too! I especially love this coat with the subtle plaid pattern.
The Winter Coat: This is my go-to style. If I were to buy one coat for the season I would buy this one… good thing CUSP is having 30% off right now through Nov. 8th!
This is the last post from our trip to Italy, our last stop was Rome. It was such an awesome city. We stayed in the Campo dei Fiori neighborhood in an Air B&B. Our room was small but clean and had everything we needed, despite the four floors worth of skinny stairs up to the room. The neighborhood was awesome with lots of restaurants nearby and an open air market everyday we were there!
The first full day we were there we did a lot of site seeing, the Colosseum, Palentine Hill, the Roman Forum and the Trevi fountain at night. It was awesome to see all of the history in Rome. We ate at Spaghetteria L’Archetto that night which was recommended by a friend and it was delicious. They had like 200 different spaghetti combos to chose from!
The next day and our very last day in Italy we took off on a run with no camera and did some site seeing that way which was actually really fun! We went up along the river to Borghese gardens then we stumbled up on the Spanish steps and later went to the Pantheon. Our trip to Italy was just amazing and I wouldn’t change one thing about it!
For our first day of site seeing I wore this floral dress with my trusty chambray over it. I was also very excited to be using my brand new purse and these sandals never let me down during the trip!
Anthropologie dress (last seen here)~~Cloth and Stone chambray (love the popover version here)~~Sam Edelman sandals~~Parris handbag~~Bracelets: J.Crew, Hermes~~Gorjana and Griffin necklace~~Burberry watch

I can’t believe it has been 1 year since La Loves was born. It’s kinda weird that I started this adventure on Halloween, I told you I’m not that into that holiday. It feels like just yesterday I was hiding in the alley near my office trying to take an outfit post with one of my coworkers.
I really could not have kept it up if it wasn’t for you, my readers and my friends. You are the ones that keep me coming back day after day. I write this blog for you (and a little for me too)! I would love if you could let me know which types of posts you like to see here, what you would like to see more or less of, any new ideas of things you would like to see? Thanks again for your feedback and loyalty.
Again, I cannot thank you enough! Here is to another year of La Loves!!
Ok, so I confess Halloween isn’t my favorite holiday. I feel like it always sneaks up on me and I am a not prepared with a costume. Then I rush to buy whichever slutty costume is left in the bag at the costume store and hate every uncomfortable minute that I am wearing it. So I typically try to avoid having to go to any costume parties. That has been made a little easier with the “I have a job” excuse since Halloween has fallen on the weekdays for the past few years. Do you like dressing up for Halloween?Even though I don’t like dressing up for Halloween that doesn’t mean I can’t add a little skull edge to my outfits. Check out these items I found with skulls, now they aren’t just for Halloween!
